My Website

This is my website. I created this on Adobe Dreamweaver. I put in my bouncing ball animation, and my printing process video, but i don't have a graphic design video yet. I also talked about me, and had an elevator pitch saying why you should hire me. This was a challenging but fun final, and really kept me on task. I hope you enjoy!

My personality

Today i to did a personality finder, and found out that i am most like a lion. A lion likes to lead, and enjoys challenges. A lion also helps people reach their goals, and is sometimes competitive. A lion's strengths are being strong, goal-oriented, and direct. their weaknesses are being too dictatorial, and argumentative. Lions also don't understand that directness can hurt others, and have a hard time expressing. I think i have most of these traits and believe this is the right animal to describe me.

the 6 step photo shots

In Ecomm video, we learned the 6 shot sequence. These 6 shots show what the person is doing. In this activity I was partners with Landon Daniel. When doing the 6 shot sequence, you must also follow the 180 degree rule. This rule is that you must take all pictures within the same 180 degrees of each other. I hope you enjoy!

this is the over the shoulder (OTS) shot. This shot shows perspective of what the person is doing

This is the close up of the hands shot. This shot shows what the person is doing.

This is the close up of the face shot. This shot shows emotion and detail.

This shot is the medium shot. This shot shows a neutral position.

This is the wide shot. This shot shows the character/person

This is the extra wide shot. This shot shows the setting.

"They Loved Your GPA, then they saw your Tweets"

The article "They loved your GPA, then they saw your Tweets" by Natasha Singer is an article about how high school student's tweets can affect wether they get into a specific college or not.

What surprised me about this article was how many people look at high school student's tweets, and how one tweet can keep you out of a college.

Throughout the story, I questioned why people look at their  tweets, but in the end, I do agree that mean tweets are wrong and show who you really are.

This impacts my input on social media, because i will now know not to put mean tweets/comments, because I don't want it to affect me in the long run.

how to create a name animation

When making a name animation, you have to open up photoshop, click file, click new, and make the width 600 and the length 150 (pixels).

after you create the background, create a text layer and type whatever you want.

after you type your text layer, right click on the text layer and rasterize type. This should make an animation layer, not a text layer.

Next, use the erase tool to erase small parts of the text.

Erase small parts and drag the layer to the "create new layer" tool.

continue erasing and duplicating.

when  you are done erasing and duplicating, at the top of the screen, click window and make sure timeline is selected

when the timeline shows up, select all of the layers and click "create frame animation" nd cick the box at the top right of the timeline and click "make frames form layers.

once you have created the frame animation, click on the box at the top right of the timeline and choose to reverse frames.

once you have reversed the frames, you are done!

10 words describing me

This is my first video timeline on photoshop. My other two projects were frame animations, but this animation i used video timeline which plays the animation in a video, and not frames. In this animation, i learned how to work video timeline, and adjust the background and words. I used 10 words and my name to describe the person I am. I hope you like it!

my second animation!

This is my second animation in Ecomm. This animation was similar to my first one, but this one has more slides, and is more complex. In this animation, we had to make a smiley face, and a scrunched face, and used squash and stretch to make this look more realistic. I hope you enjoy!

My first animation!

This is my first animation in Ecomm. this project helped us understand squash and stretch. When the ball is falling, the speed makes it look like it is stretching, and when it hits the ground, it looks like it is squashing down towards the ground. We used photoshop to make this animation. This is my first time using it, and i really enjoyed making this. I hope you like it!
