my multiplane project

Today in animation, we made a multiplane video. A multiplane video is when there is multiple layers that move at different speeds to make it look more realistic. I made a desert, and i realized that there is not much in the desert so i probably should've chose a different setting. I think my slides did move well though. We made our layers in Photoshop, and transferred them into After Effects. I had about 5 layers. Thanks for watching

my procedure video

Our first e-Comm project in video was to make a procedure video. My partner, Molly, and I recorded footage about "go-zones" in the hallway above the main stairs. First we had to get and set up our equipment, then we had to record different shots, then we had to edit the final product.

 Along the way I learned that communicating with others can really help you and your performance. Molly and I would come up with different ideas in order to make our video. I also learned how Premiere and the cameras work.

If i could change one thing about our project, it would probably be to record in a better spot because the hallway we recorded in was very dark. I would definitely like to keep the mood of our video, funny but gets the point across. I will definitely learn to make sure the lighting and camera shots are good before recording because little things like those can make the biggest differences.
