"How Does VR Actually Work?" review

"How Does VR Actually Work?" review

In this article, Sophia Charara, talks about all of the details of VR and how it actually works.  VR has two main tracking systems, head tracking and motion tracking. head tracking has to do with where you are actually looking. It runs off a system called 6DoF (six degrees of freedom). This is the X, Y, and Z axis that is measured where your head is moved to. motion tracking is where you are moving in your headset, whether you are moving in real life, or ordinarily, moving with controllers. this tracking system can make your VR experience better because you can look like you are doing stuff with your hands when you actually aren't. VR is connected with animation in the fact that many of the games are made in 3D programs. imagine making a virtual world in Maya and putting on a VR headset and walking around in what you have just created.
